Father and Four Adult Sons Arrested for Child Rape

Following a multi- jurisdictional investigation of sex crimes against children Missouri state and county officials arrested five men from the same family on Tuesday, November 11th.
Gruesome Details of Missouri Crime
The details of the still developing crime are gruesome. The five members of the Mohler family stand accused of not only child rape, but forcible sodomy, bestiality and forcing an 11 year old girl to have an abortion.
The Search for Long Buried Glass Jars
Corporal Bill Lowe of the Missouri highway patrol stated that officials are currently searching the property of one of the accused looking for buried glass jars in which the child victims wrote notes detailing the horrific things that were being done to them. Officials are also searching the property for bodies.
Alleged Incest in Mohler Case
Though the details are scarce, authorities have confirmed that there is more than one victim involved. The first to come forward to authorities is the child of one of the accused. The alleged abuse took place 20 years ago.
Friends and Family Stunned by Missouri Arrests
Most who knew the five men are surprised by the recent arrest. Neighbors, co-workers and even spouses are in shock all essentially saying the same thing – these were good men.
Neighbor of more than 20 years, Deborah Burris spoke of the 77 year old Burrell Edward Mohler Sr. Burris said that she never saw anything that would arouse suspicion and that Mohler was friendly and helpful. She even went as far as saying that she didn’t know that Mohler had any sons.
The Mohler's are Accused of Class A, B, and C, Felonies
The crimes that the five members of the Mohler family stand accused of so far are as follows:
Burrell Edward Mohler Sr., 77, has been charged with a Class A felony of forcible rape with a child less than 12 years old by the use of forcible compulsion, two counts of Class B felony rape and two counts of Class C felony of use of a child in a sexual performance.
Burrell Edward Mohler Jr., 53, is charged with a Class C felony of deviate sexual assault with a child less than 14 years old and two counts of Class C felony use of a child in a sexual performance.
David A. Mohler, 48, has been charged with a Class A felony of forcible rape with a child less than 12 years old by the use of forcible compulsion.
Jared Leroy Mohler, 48, was been charged with a Class A felony of forcible rape with a child less than 12 years old by the use of forcible compulsion, a Class B felony of forcible sodomy knowingly had deviate sexual intercourse with a child less than 12 years old by use of forcible compulsion and two counts of Class C felonies of use of a child in a sexual performance.
Roland Neil Mohler, 47, was also charged with a Class C felony use of a child in a sexual performance.
So far there have been five victims located, all of whom are cooperating fully with authorities. Unfortunately, it is feared that more victims will be uncovered.
