Caylee Anthony's DNA and Family Guilt: Authorities Find Caylee's DNA While Family Supports Casey

Caylee Anthony’s birthday has come and gone as she remains a missing person and the mystery surrounding her disappearance continues to be a topic of interest. Although authorities publicly state they have Caylee’s DNA, they will not comment on where it was obtained—Casey’s car trunk, her closet, or some other item. Many speculate it was retrieved from Casey Anthony’s car—the vehicle she abandoned that Caylee’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony believed smelled like a dead body when she called 911.

Just over a week ago, Casey’s car was searched using a cadaver dog who indicated the foul smell was the scent of a dead body. Law enforcement also found dirt, an unknown stain, and hairs in the trunk.

Cindy Anthony Blames the Media for Caylee’s Continued Absence

While the public ponders over the recent information regarding DNA results, Cindy Anthony claims the media will be responsible if Caylee is not found. She argues the media is purely speculating on what happened and only showing clips of what they think the public wants to see by sensationalizing Casey Anthony’s actions and little Caylee’s disappearance.

In a public statement directed at the media, Cindy Anthony proclaimed, “You guys are the ones that are gonna’ be responsible if Caylee is not found and she is not back to us by her 3rd birthday.” A reporter challenged Cindy’s statement by saying that Casey should be more cooperative with the police, to whom Cindy retorted, “Casey has been cooperative. You guys have not been down here. There’s [sic] no expert witnesses coming to interview my daughter or speaking with us.”

Cindy Anthony’s Guilt

It has been speculated that Casey Anthony’s parents, George and Cindy, are in denial about what happened to their granddaughter because the awful truth would be too much to bear—which may be that Casey actually had something to do with Caylee’s disappearance. It might be easier for the Anthony family to delude themselves into believing Casey’s convoluted story rather than face the fact that Caylee may never return home.

Cindy Anthony may bear the brunt of parental guilt because she was the person who telephoned 911 to report Caylee’s disappearance, indicating Casey may be involved. Thus, although justified, she might feel guilt-ridden about making the call that put Casey behind bars. Therefore, Cindy continues to proclaim Casey’s innocence to the press stating, “We have learned a lot over the last few weeks speaking with her [Casey] either by phone or whatever.” Cindy Anthony claims Casey has painted an accurate picture of what happened to Caylee and Cindy now thinks she has a good understanding of what happened. Therefore, it is unlikely Cindy and George will ever believe that Casey’s actions resulted in Caylee’s disappearance, even if DNA evidence of Caylee’s demise are found.

The Grandmother even said Please don't take her to the mountains and she believed tht caylee was being taken to N. Carolina. This tells me that they bothe know what happened to this little girl!!!!! If they know she is alive and where she may be taken then they know the whole story and ar withholding evidance... That calls for an arrest. I think with all of them in jail that Caylee will be found quicker!

What I think happened is that Casey left Kaylee in the hot car (cause maybe grandma was just tired of Casey always leaving Caylee with her) with a pizza and went off and partied came back to find her took her home tried to put her in the pool to cool her off but it was to late.
Shoved her in the back of the car and took the gas cans and you can figure out the rest...

Shame on the whole family for not telling the truth especially Casey and her lies. Its disgusting to me. Why would you lie ecept to cover up something. NO excuses!

The thing I never understood is at the very beginning of the case, Cindy Anthony said that for the month Casey was away she always asked to speak to Caylee. She always said she was sleeping, napping, swimming, something that was acceptable for why she couldnt speak to her. So she had no reason to worry. But when she found out she had been missing for that whole month she still believes Casey is telling the truth. If she was telling the truth then why would Casey have made up all those excuses. I think she is scum of the earth.

Parents please look at the Anthony case and understand that covering for your kids, making excuses for them and not making them accountable for their actions is a path that is started very young. We are raising a nation of Casey Anthony's. My daughter is an elementary teacher and she can tell you that about 20% of her class the last 5 years are Sociopaths. They have been raised to push themselves forward and have no regard for the rights of others. When they get in trouble at school, get a bad grade, etc. they go home and tell their parents outrageous stories which THE PARENTS BELIEVE and then call or come to the school screaming & threatening the teachers. Blame will be placed by everyone, only God knows what happened to her or what is happening. People make bad decisions, we know it's not always as simple as that, but it is what it is. Court documents show that casey attempted to give the baby up for adoption. she never wanted it in the first place. it was the GRANDMOTHER who pushed and pushed and eventually convinced her to keep the child. Why the grandmother and Grandfather didn't apply for custody, or why Casey didn't release custody to them at birth eludes me.

Again, i'm not trying to defend Casey here, but if this girl has died from some sort of neglect, I hope the grandmother is ill with grief every night she lays her head down and remembers that SHE forced her daughter to have the child. a child she KNEW was unwanted. she had to know that someone who could so adamantly NOT want to have a child, was not ready to be a mother.

if you bring home a puppy for your child, and that child says he does not want it, do you REALLY think that kid is going to suddenly to an about face and begin showering the puppy with attention, love, and affection??? NOT LIKELY!!!

George is(or was)a police officer, and Cindy is an RN, so that's how they know what a dead body smells like. I'm beginning to suspect the police will never recover Caylee's remains, and if that happens prosecuting Casey for her daughter's murder will prove very challenging. Whoever wrote about drugging Caylee for the 30 days she was missing, then going back to Tony's to party..interesting theory. Not altogether implausible either. I feel sorry for Cindy and George, they are SO in denial. Plus, Casey didn't just "turn out" this way. Parents need to take some responsibility for their child-rearing. Casey now claims that she gave Caylee to her imaginary Zani the nanny & a man name Sam at the playground ... where the police were pointed to that backpack/clothes some searchers found. The Zani at the empty apartment legend got a Casey update since she got her hot shower at home.

Cindy Anthony's new cadaver search team she's begged to come do a search (Texas Equusearch) for Caylee should start at that park. But then we all know, Florida's gators are pole dancing party girl mom's best bet for digesting evidence.

The gasoline cans still bother me. I think it is possible the gasoline was used for -- gas. If they were, Casey had an accomplice. She was not smart enough to fill the car with gas so she didn't have to stop anywhere. I think the accomplice could have been L/E. Either her dad or boyfriend. That could mean a day trip. Several of the players took trips around this time -- some on mini-vacations. I think the clothes in the park are meant to throw people off perhaps -- with the fact that L/E was aware that several serious crimes had been committed in that park as of late -- June 9 for example. Interesting case. It's ain't over till it's over.

I don't know how Casey can even look at herself in the mirror when she wakes up. I feel sorry for the grandfather who was the last person to see Caylee alive. Grandma and Casey have a dysfunctional relationship which is obvious. Even though, if Casey didn't want her child she could have left her at a safe haven spot or even left her with her grandfather. It makes me feel so sad and angry that we may never find this beautiful precious gift from God. May God have mercy on Casey's Soul.

I know of a situation where a young girl got pregnant and didn't want the baby. They get hurt real bad by the dad (dumped) and this kid reminds them of this pain. Well she kept the kid but it took about 3 years before she got over her pain. She was always a wonderful mother and now she wouldn't change a thing. But it takes time. I think Casey hasn't reached that stage, that's why she glad Caylees dead, this isn't a problem for her its a relief.
I do believe Caylee is dead and I also believe Casey killed her (maybe
accidently, maybe not. And if I were selected to be a juror on this case I would have no problem finding her guilty of murder, (just all the lies are enough to prove guilt) and I would also have no problem sentencing her to death if that was an option.

Was Wondering if these scratches was caylee crying and trying to get out of the trunk . What that tells me is that she might have been keeping caylee in the trunk of the car. Well maybe at times she took her with her she clororformed caylee and put her in the trunk till she got done partying . And when she got back caylee had smothered or she forgot and left her in there for days till she died. Well you cant asked a insaine person how you can forget that your child is in your trunk .How could she be so insane to put your child in there in the first place . If you are that insane than you are not going to remember to take your child out of trunk . This mother has not been in a normal state of mind from birth . Plus from some of the pictures I have saw of her one picture of her in a car she looks wasted on drugs and beer from partying . So lets think what if she took her car to party ,befor she went in gave caylee clororform to keep her quite but she thinks someone might come by and see notice young child in car alone and might call police . So she just dont give it to caylee and let her sleep in the back seat. So she decides to hide her in the trunk. She goes in partys gets wasted on drugs ends up pasted out till mornig or days later. Wakes up goes out omg were is caylee omg I put her in trunk . Well thats what I think on the trunk thing . Were is the car seat that belong to caylee ? OH I forgot the imagineary baby sitter has it . And the nanny thing what grand mother dont meet the person who is going to be watching there grand baby .They have never seen her but they belive nanny is real because casey says she is real.. Hello they know there daughter is a compuslive liar . They should have always went and checked up on anything she would say especialy when it conserned there grand daughter this is unbeliveable

If that was one of my grandchildren I would not hestate to go and see what is or was happening. Why did the grandmother wait so long to report it? There is a lot of excuses but, what is the real truth. There is something there on the mother and the grandparents. Exspecially when Casey said that her parent or parents is going to take care of the car and they knew about what is going on and why was the car parked nea the dumpster? I am not acusing anybody anything but you can get a court order for lie decator test and or voice complier that tells where some is telling the truth or not. I definitely think Casey was occupied doing something else, either having one of her many boyfriends over, in bed, perhaps smoking pot, or just not home at all. I think Calee being only three wondered around the house and perhaps gotten hurt ( or drowned) by accident and was not discovered until too late. I don't think Casey killed Calee, but was a result from Casey's neglect. The child was definitely a burden to her. However, Casey did have a use for her, as leverage against her parents. And now, it was gone! She had to make up one of her famous whoppers and convince parents that someone else (of course) hurt or took their granddaugher. SHE could never do something to harm the baby. (Remember when the mother said Casey tells halfway truths") Oh, we could blame the parents for being enablers, but the damage is done. They have a much harder burden to bear now with not only their continued loyalty to the retched daughter, but the most likely loss of their precious granddaughter. For Casey, Fat Chance Casey Coward, you are not getting away with your lies this time. Gee, the police aren't believing you? And mama and daddy can't get you out of this one? What to do? Keep on lying, its just getting you in deeper and deeper. You will pay for the rest of your life for this whopper. Unfortunately at the cost of one of God's precious angels. Here is my theory. I think that Casey killed her daughter and that it was premeditated. I think that her original plan was to act like Caylee was alive long enough to ensure that the body/remains would be long gone and THEN report her missing as if it had just happened. This is why she has been so wishy-washy about the actual date of the disappearance.

I'm just wondering why her granparents didn't care about not seen Caylee for a month!!!! Don't they lived together??? so why her grandma (that I personaly feel is hiding important evidence)wasn't worried about caylee's whereabouts!!!! Her grandaughter is not in home in a month and they lived like nothing happens?...weird..don't you think the same? Crazy and disfunctional "family". My theory is that the "mother" wait one month because in one month a death body is very descompose,specially of a child, and it will be so hard to search ( specially in Orlando,FL). It's makes me sick to see this monster acting like a celebrity,wearing new make up and clothes like she was an actress.Even if they don't have evidence still about the killing but because she never showed any emotion for his missing child.I think this is the attention that she craves and with her sick personality she will never show remorse or whatsoever. I hope that the justice will be equal for the mother and the grandparents that didn't report the missing child inmediately,and please don't say that they didn't notice that caylee wasn't home during this 30 days!!! Hey grandma...30 days without seen Caylee saying a good night kiss?...without listening her singing a song?... PLEASE...!!! I think you deserves the same punishement that your daughter Casey is going to have,because with all the evidence we can see how neglected for everyone in this home this little poor kid was. It doesn't matter the smiling pictures,Caylee was suffering ( you can see it when she hugs this old man in the video,she looks like she need protection and care, and she looks affraid)

What a sweet and lovely little girl caylee is/or was. such a loving little girl who longed for love and affection- i'm thinking of the video on nancy grace where she was clinging to her grandparent- it must have been a great grandparent and it was the last video of her- but you could just see how she longed to be held and loved. something makes me believe that casey was resentful that the parents would not watch caylee when she wanted to party or go on vacation like the one she wanted to take with friends in july. it makes me wonder if cindy doesn't regret watching her more so her daughter could just go on with her life. it wasn't the grandaughter's fault that her mother wanted to party or be with her friends more. what did the grandmother really have to do- i believe i heard it right- she is on some kind of leave or disability from work- she sure doesn't look disabled to me. maybe that is where casey learned her lying from because i think not only is casey a pathological liar- but also the grandmother- they seem to lie so much that they believe themselves. but seriously- personality wise- i don't see much difference with casey or cindy.

I have been following this story for a while and it is just heartbreaking but what I think is that Casey wanted to go out and party and hangout with her friends and was mad that she could never find a babysitter and I also think she was so self absorbed that she never wanted anyone to think of her as a bad mother. So I am thinking maybe she searched for chloroform as a way to knock Caylee out for a while and put her in the trunk so she could go party and come back and get her out later only instead of her waking up later she died and she freaked out and covered it up. I'm thinking what if she even did it before since she always talked about a nanny, maybe knockin Caylee out with some type of drug to make her sleep and put her in the trunk was her nanny? Then she accidentally kills her and freaks out and gets rid of the body?? I dont know just a theory.

I live in Mobile Ala,there is a man that lives here who threw his 4 children off the Daphin Island bridge,he said he gave them to a woman but someone saw his car on top of the bridge,he told his wife he was going to do something because she called police after he left her work place with the children.He was on drugs and everone in the family new he was on crack,he would not work and the wife had to.The awful truth came out after a long search one by one they found each child, the last one had been draged by the current all the way from Daphin Island Ala to LA,people around Mobile were in shock,he tryed to say the woman took the children thinking tthe sharks would eat them before they could be found,the oldest child was hers from before,I THINK HE WAS 6OR7 years old the baby 9 months 2girls and 2 boys.This was so bad if they had stop the search they would have not found the last child,I do not no if they tested casey for drugs but they need to because if she was this is how they can do this kind of thing,when they bring this man to court,he insist he has a bullet proof vest on and now hes saying he did not do this,the family all new he was on the drugs and so his wife will have to live the rest of life without her beautiful children,they said she had to work no way I would leave my kids with a crack head! It makes me think of that song GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN,its awfull what some kids are having to grow up in, I hope they find caylee ,if casey was doing all the things they said why did they let her take caylee?They will pay for the rest of there lives also,this world has become a very Evil place to grow up in! Without a doubt in my mind the Anthony's know what really happened and yes the know that Caylee is dead. I'm sure Attorney Baez has adviced them to save their daughter Casey by obtaining their own attorney to defend them and to keep this false pretence that thier granddaugher is alive so that when the trial comes the jury will have a hard time sentencing Casey without Caylee's body. The longer they can keep this going the more they can get some of the public to feel sorry for them and think, well maybe Caylee is still alive. That is a sick game, but then again the whole family is sick and twisted!

ALERT...some time back released either text message, e-mail, or phone call from Casey....she said, she got rid of the stench smell in the car. Well, she got rid of the body thinking she got rid of the smell, but apparently she is so stupid to believe others are to stupid to recognize decomposed body odor. The death sentence would be to easy for Casey. I would like to see her placed in a small 4x4 cell, but necked, duck tapped hand and feet and fed only bread and water for the remainder of her life. Let he suffer...apparently she has never suffered any consiquencences for actions and/or lies in the past. She should suffer greatly. What do the rest of U think?

What mother in this world would not report their child missing, go out dancing,drinking, and then have her mother have to come find her at her boyfriend's house after a month of partying, then let your own mother report your child missing, and lie to police over and over again, if they weren't guilty of murdering that child. Precious little Caylee. I do not believe that Cindy and George were bad parents to Casey. I think they loved her to death like we all do our children. I think they probably spoiled her but lots of us spoil our kids. Who in their wildest imagination would believe they raised a child who could murder? Casey does not cry or show any remorse. Any mother with a child missing would normally go absolutely crazy unless they were involved. I do think Casey did it, but I don't think George and Cindy did anything but love their daughter and their granddaughter with unconditional love and are so totally devastated now, they can't function anymore. I feel a lot of compassion for these grandparents; I can't even imagine what they are going through. If Casey is found guilty, they will have lost their daughter and their granddaughter. Life will never be the same for them. I know the kind of love they had for Caylee. I love Caylee, my heart breaks everytime I see her and especially when she sings "You are my Sunshine". Someone taught her that song; she is the most precious little girl I have ever seen. God Bless You, little angel, and rest in Jesus' arms, honey. We all love you, Caylee.
