MySpace Used in the Caylee Anthony Search: The Anthony Family is Using Technology to Search for Caylee

The MySpace page, Caylee is Missing, is dedicated to finding three-year-old Caylee Anthony who disappeared last month. On the Web site, a moving, somber song entitled I Wish plays. The site informs readers on how to donate funds in order to assist in the search for Caylee and how they may get involved in the quest to find her. There is also a slideshow of the missing toddler with several different photographs flashing on the screen.

In addition, there is another Web site dedicated to the recovery of Caylee called Help Find Caylee. The site is similar to that of the MySpace page displaying several photographs of Caylee, telephone numbers to call with tips on her whereabouts, and links to create flyers of Caylee. The difference between this Internet site and the MySpace page is that the MySpace page advertises for personal assistants for both George Anthony, Caylee’s grandfather, and Lee Anthony, her uncle.

George Anthony and Lee Anthony Requesting Help

On Caylee’s MySpace page, there are several volunteer positions posted by the Anthony family in an effort to help find the missing little girl. These include Publix Tent/Booth Attendent, Flier Distributor, and Call Center Representative. Also open are two Personal Assistant positions—one for George and the other for Lee. These assistants are to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a strictly volunteer basis.

Some have publicly questioned the two Anthony men’s need for personal assistants, while others believe they are being proactive in their search for Caylee. Each personal assistant must have great organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and be a jack-of-all trades according to the site. In addition, George’s personal assistant must be able to lift 50 pounds, while Lee’s personal assistant must also be available to assist with the personal needs of the Anthony family.

An Exercise In Futility

Obviously, the main purpose of a personal assistant for George and Lee is to assist in all aspects of searching for Caylee. The Anthony family is desperate to find Caylee and are clearly willing to do whatever it takes to bring her home. However, many in the media believe the MySpace page and other public pleas are exercises in futility, since Casey, Caylee’s mother seems to know more about her disappearance than she is revealing.

Casey continues to claim Caylee was kidnapped by an elusive babysitter and the Anthony family seem to be holding onto this belief. Obviously, they are hoping Caylee is still alive and the family is trying to getting the word out wherever they can in the slim chance that what Casey is telling them is true.

It is quite obvious that little Caylee's mother has absolutely no interest in finding her daughter. If Casey thought her daughter was alive she would be doing everything in her power to locate the missing child. She is not because she knows where Caylee is, she is exactly where she left her, unfortunately she is most like dead, at the hands of her mother. So she does indeed know exactly where Caylee is. When you are a uncaring sociopath, nothing bothers you. I hope Casey rots in jail, but she will never be sorry for what she did. Only sorry and pity or herself. Wasn't it obvious that she was an unfit parent, partying and acting like a little tramp, I am sure her parents knew, why didn't they seek custody? Shame on the entire family.

I agree with the comment I just read on Caylee Anthony. I don't know why everyone is treating Casey with kid gloves. She absolutely had to have done something to this precious little girl. I would be doing EVERYTHING that I could to find my child. I have two grown daughters and I can't imagine hurting them or my grandchildren. I feel the parents know a lot more than they are letting on. It is obvious from the recorded phone calls at the jail that they were talking in code. Maybe Casey needs a room mate in her cell and maybe this would help Casey to admit to what she has done.

This entire situation sickens me!!! It is very obvious that Casey has done a very horrible thing to Caylee. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. If I had not been able to see my grand daughter for a month I would have personally been worried and found a way to see her come Hell or high water. It is obvious that Casey was deceiving her mother for at least 3-4 weeks about her daughter. If the girl was safe or alive there would have been NO reason to lie about her whereabouts. Then, to part and have pictures taken at clubs drunk and God only knows what else. I know we all want to believe in our family members, but Caylee's mother is very SICK in the head! I hope they punish her to the fullest extent of the LAW!!!!!!

This story makes me ill. Casey is a spoiled brat and her family enables her. What a joke they all are. The only person I feel sorry for is Caylee. She deserved a real mother. Since Mom already knows that Caylee's okay, why all the web sites looking for her and all the tv coverage. I think Nancy Grace and Greta should pull out of this story and let this family deal with the issue entirely on their own. Casey is of no help so why should that family expect anyone to be concerned for her daughter...she's not! She's not entitled to any help from the public as far as I'm concerned. First of all I would like to say I am praying everyday that Caylee is found and for the family. However I don't see how that Casey can stand the thoughts of being in that house with all Caylee's things and not be able to tell what she knows about the whereabouts of her child, and what happen to her. This poor little baby! Sadly, I think the mother, Casey, killed her daughter. I think she is a deranged woman who cannot distinguish the truth from all of her lies. She is basking in all of the attention. Unfortunately, I think there are many secrets in that family. From watching all of the various t.v. shows, the family dynamics are very strange. Cindy and Casey seem to have a passive/aggressive relationship. The father seems to have no relationship with his daughter......if Casey actually is his daughter.....Another observation, notice Caylee's pics look very much like George and since the family will not say who the father is, (or Casey conveniently says Caylee's father died...but the deceased man's family says no-way) it makes you wonder if George is the father, this might also explain the bad vibes between Casey and Cindy (?) Then there is Lee, completely separate from the parents, you do not see the family appaearing together, I think it is very strange. I do not understand why everyone listens day after day to Casey's continued ridiculas drama, lock her up for life, she is a pathological liar with seemingly no emotional attachment to her daughter. The whole family is off, something is wrong here!!!! I hope I am wrong and they find little Caylee!! But the facts that have been revealed to the public, speak otherwise.

My heart goes out to the grandparents. My daughter suffered from the same pathology/psychosis as Casey does. She lied, stole and had no conscience whatsoever. When she took her own life, she left her young daughter and her parents devastated! Upon leaving us, while in her drug-induced haze, she managed to leave hate-filled letters to everyone who cared about her, blaming her innocent child for having ruined her life. May God help this family through this similar, inexplicable tragedy.

To whomever wrote the poem...It was beautiful. I had my daughter at seventeen. My parents were livid with me, so I moved out and finished school. It was me and her against the world. She was there when I graduated highschool, moved from state to state and college graduation. She was only three when we moved from Missouri to Tampa, Fl. Even though I was young and not experienced in the world... my love for my daughter alone made me wise enough to know to make sure my babysitter lived in a house (not an apartment), to make sure my babysitter was older and had children of her own (not a young 25 year old with roommates),and that my babysitter had lived in the home for several years, (not a transient like Zani the Nanny supposively was, moving from house to house). Also, I WAS WISE ENOUGH TO KNOW AT 20 YEARS OF AGE THAT IF ANYTHING, GOD FORBID, EVER HAPPENED TO ME, LIKE A CAR ACCIDENT, ETC., SOMEBODY HAD TO KNOW HOW TO LOCATE MY DAUGHTER IN FLORIDA!!!!! All of my family members had my babysitter's name, number and address. Casey's didn't do any of these things because she HAD NO LOVE for little Caylee. Not because she was a young, niave mother who didn't know any better. A young mothers love for her child is what makes her grow up really fast and become wise beyond her years. This unfortunately looks like this will not have a positive end. It is quite obvious now that this precious child is no longer alive. Her mother should be helping in any way she can but she refuses to do so. I feel for the grandparents and the uncle, they are going through a very sad time. And now to have to face what their daughter has done they have not only lost their grandchild but now will be losing their daughter, Cindy seems to be in denial. With all the evidence and the grandfather being a "retired police officer" he knows all too well what has happened. He knew once he got in the car and drove it home, it was written all over his face when they had the bond hearing. Casey should be back in jail by tomorrow exactly where she should be. I do not believe she is going to take the limited immunity deal and tell them where to find her daughter, she's too selfish and does seem to be a sociopath. She never was out looking for her daughter, she was too busy getting a tatoo, partying and dating - that is not someone who is upset because her daughter is missing. If this had been from an accident I believe she would be devastated, if you kill someone it's a relief and you go out and party down, which is exactly what she did. I do pray for the family as this is just the beginning of the mouring process and having to go through what Casey is putting them through only shows how selfish she is. If you truly had your daughter taken wouldn't you tell your boyfriend, closest friend, mother, father, brother as soon as you found out; or would you get a tatoo, party and continue your life as though nothing had happened. This child is gone and the sooner the family faces it - they will be able to start mourning. Once they find her body, which I believe is possible unless she dumped her in a dumpster, what will they say then. Will they still say she's innocent!

My daughter's 3rd birthday was 4 days after little Caylee's 3rd birthday would have been. It makes me sick to my stomach to see her so-called-mother more interested in herself & not her child.
I felt from the get go that little Caylee was dead, and to have Casey's family treat her with kid gloves. I would have been shaking some sense into that girl. I too blame the family, they had to have know how incompetent their daughter was as a mother. If they loved that child so much, why did they not seek custody. Then their dippy daughter could have partied till the cows came home.
In my opinion, I think maybe Caylee fell in the pool & Casey was not watching her. She panicked put Caylee in the trunk of her mother's car & buried or disposed of her somewhere else.
The thing that turns my stomach the most is the pictures of Casey out partying days after her daughter is missing. This shows me how uncaring & unfeeling that silly stupid girl is.

I am undecided as to whether there was an accident or whether her so-called mother lost her temper and did something terrible to her. Either way, Casey Anthony is not going to help anyone find Caylee. And if you've been following this case closely as I have each day since the story broke, Casey Anthony is not the only liar in this family. Cindy Anthony has told a few lies of her own and I have to wonder if that's where Casey learned her lying from, her own mother. I can only imagine what George and Cindy Anthony are going through but at some point they are going to have to face the fact that Caylee is no longer with them because of their own daughter. I can only hope that this little girl is found and can finally be put to rest. She was an innocent child who had her life ahead of her and has now been taken from her family at the hands of her mother. She deserves to rest in peace.

I cannot believe that Cindy and George can be in denial like they are. We all pray tht Caylee will be found alice but it is pretty unlikely. Cindy is the one that called 911 and said that the car smelled like a dead body had been in the damn car and now she is trying to say that there wasn't any odor in the car and that they must have put a dead body in the car when they took it to the impound. How stupid does she think everyone is. What excuse is she going to use when and if they find a body. She will probably try to say that it isn't Caylee's body or something else to protect Casey.

I have a four year old grandson and if he ever was missing because someone kidnapped him, I would be so devastated that I would barely be able to function.Caylee's grandparents seem to be unusually composed.Also,I am just wondering how well Casey knew this person whom she said she left her with?Why did she leave her with this person?Why did the grandfather state on August 12th that his grandaughter was kidnapped and that the kidnappers were being watched?Had investigators not already looked into this person that Casey had stated she had given her child too? In the beginning of this investigation into Caylee's disappearance,Casey made several statements about her cell phone and people calling her from private numbers. I believe that she looked at her phone call records online and thought that because someone calls from a private number, it cannot be traced by the police.Maybe she even thought that her own phone calls could not be traced if she hid her number when calling someone? I know from experience that it is true that a judge can get phone records and prove who is calling from blocked numbers. My daughter had a boyfriend that would not stop calling her and he denied it.Once the judge received the records they proved him wrong.Casey is lying about everything she is questioned about and I believe someone else is involved.Someone else knows something.

What is the true date that Caylee was last seen by anyone, not just her grandparents? When did Casey spend the $$$ that she stole from her own grandparents? Obviously, the 'paper trail' Casey has left behind would be easy to follow to determine where Casey has been since the end of May '08. Where was Caylee when Casey was sleeping overnight with her boyfriend and going out to clubs? Someone had to be taking care of her, or Casey was drugging her and leaving her in her vehicle.
Caylee's grandmother needs to be arrested for abetting and harboring a criminal. The grandmother is lying about her conversations with Casey just like Casey has lied to the police about Caylee's disappearance.
Please arrest this Casey lady as early as possible, as well as her Mother, Cindy.

A vacation to where?What money did she have?And as far as the "nanny" goes, why would she have a person taking care of her child so much when she didn't work? Also, when her lawyer said Casey told him "she wanted to hold her head up high" when coming out of the jail --- well, all I got to say to that is "it's just another one of her lies to add to the list".

What I don't understand is that they find a stain which is proven positive to be linked to Caylee and they find caylee's hair along with chloroform in the trunk. Then the neighbor states that the mother asked her for a shovel but to really top it off is that her parents had a patio put in on a holiday weekend. You usually get that done the weekend before since that is one holiday that usually everyone celebrates. That tells me that there is foul play so knowing this why doesn't the police dept. get a supeno to rip up the patio or probe the ground under neath the patio. They can take soil samples and tell if anything was buried there. With our technology now a days it's a wonder why they are not trying to do that with all the info they have. She can keep playing it cool but whats the point? if it happened it happened accidental or purpose. hiding it is only making the situation worse.

My heart goes out to the grandparents. Unfortunately the media got wind of this story and turned it into a media circus. I'm sure the grandparents have never had to encounter the media in their life. I hope Caylee is found soon one way or the other so they can either celebrate or grieve and put this to rest. I live in East Orange County Florida, not to far from the Anthony home. Last I checked this was still the United States, and here we have rights. Innocent until proven quilty and also freedom of speech. We, here in central Florida have been inundated with news on this case. So somehow we have all become judges and jurors? Casey will have her day in court and I believe justice will be done, no matter what the charge.
On the other hand, freedom of speech don't mean you can become tribal and stand in the streets screaming profanity at someone. Where is the law here. The way I see this is that it constitutes harassment, verbal abuse, and disturbance of the peace. You can believe if I walked down the street and just starting yelling and cursing my neighbor, and if it was in the middle of the night I would be arrested for disturbing the peace.
Cindy and George I pray for peace for your family. I have daughters and a grandaughter. I see your videos and my heart goes out to you. Listen to your heart it will give you peace in knowing you are doing the right thing.

I watch Nancy Grace every night as she covers this case. This is something that has profoundly affected me. Nancy said the other night that this case has affected her as well as many of her viewers. It's true. This has been a nightmare of epic proportion.
I do not personally believe there is one speck of savings grace for Casey. And another thing I believe is that Casey is actually 'getting off' on all this media attention. In the world of a narcissistic personality disorder patient, they can be so darn convincing with elaborate stories and they feel they are smarter than the average human. To have so many people wanting information from Casey, and having her with hold it, and deny this beautiful child a decent burial is sinful.
However, I do feel horrible for the grandparents. Life as they knew it prior to July is well and truly over. And the only thing they can do is to hold out (unreal) hope that Caylee is alive. Failure to do that would be far too painful. They know they've lost their privacy, their lifestyle and their daughter. They'd have to move very far away to get away from this nightmare, and it seems they are not financially fixed to do that. They really need to stop going out to the protesters though - that will not do them any good at all.
I wonder what part (if any) brother Lee had to do with Casey's situation and Caylee's disappearance. I believe someone had to have helped Casey. I wonder about this as I heard that he had refused the polygraph. I also listened to the bounty hunter as he made several references to Lee protecting his sister. Surely Casey would have needed some help in moving Caylee in and out of the trunk of the car?
With regards to the protesters, that's a tough one. I couldn't help but detect the arrogance and indignation in Casey's voice as she called to report the altercations between her parents and the protesters earlier today. Does she not realize that she has brought on this circus? If Casey wasn't out on bail and at that residence being 'protected', perhaps the protesters would have been supporting the grandparents instead of showing indignation for their harboring a person they believe killed that beautiful little girl. You would think that Casey would feel safer in jail at this point, and that the grandparents would feel less threatened.
I sincerly wish I could say that I still hold out hope dear little Caylee may be alive, but it looks unlikely. God bless Caylee, whereever she is.

Mom won't talk, and probably never will tell the truth until evidence mounts against her, and even then, she will deny it. I don't feel Caylee is with us anymore. As a mother and grandmother I feel the pain for the grandparents of Caylee Anthony. The need to know where your grandchild is when you spend most of your time raising that child. I have done the same with my daughter. I raised my granddaughter til she was about four years of age. My daughter was very involved with her daughter's life. This comparison changes there. My granddaugther is still with her mother and I get to be the grandmother on vacations and holidays. My heart hurts for their loss. I am not saying I believe the child is dead or alive but to not have your wonderful little girl home with you where you know they are safe. Is heart breaking. I live in Maine and do wish that there was something that I could do to help find Caylee. Caylee is the little darling that everyone wants back where she belongs. My heart goes out to her because I truely do know what she is going through. I was lucky and got custody of my grandchilren before something happened. I'm not going to give my opionion on what happened but if Caylee was with someone i'm pretty sure she would've been back by now considering this news is all over the world someone would've seen her. What it obvious is Casey is involved maybe accidently but she's still guilty for not reporting it and should be given the maximum penalty. Her lawyer and parents are both stupid for beliveing her.

Maybe it's possible that the family of Casey is lying about the time that Casey left home or about how long Caylee has been missing?Maybe they took the time to prepare for the story that they would eventually tell.Maybe they were told by Casey that something accidental happened to Caylee?And just maybe they believed her and that is why they waited to make that phone call.Maybe this all sounds crazy but maybe it's possible.Obviously they have tried to protect their daughter since it all came out so why would it not be possible that they were doing the same before that?Just maybe the family does know the truth?

I feel so bad for Cindy and George, they have lost a precious grandaughter and are trying so very hard to believe that their own child did not commit a horrible crime against caylee. I really think that with the mass amount of coverage this case has gotten so far this child would have been found by now. I think caylee met her demise by her mothers hand, but by accident, and for casey to tell her mother that the baby is gone would send cindy over the edge and casey would have no one left. You want to believe that your child would never commit a murder because you didnt raise them like that, but just remember everyone has secrets that they take to their graves, secrets so horrible that to say them out loud would alianate you from the world. Casey has no one but her mother, she needs to prove herself to her mom, to prove shes a good person, and if that means hiding the accident she had with her child thats what she is going to do.

It is extremely expensive for grandparents to seek custody of a grandchild even if the parent(s) are clearly dysfunctional and the situation is a threat to the child. i was told by an attorney to that it would cost about $75,000. The Anthonys have had money problems themselves; i.e., recent bankruptcy. CPS is usually not helpful. Many many grandparents find themselves in this awful situation.

We can all just pray for caylee she is in heaven now knowing that alot of people really cared about her. Her precious body has finally been found just about a day after george and cindy went on larry king live to tell more lies. I think god up above and caylee said that is "enough" and god had a person stubble on her body. Now justice will be done for caylee. Her mom who knows what she did and she is in jail crying not for caylee but for her because now people know what she has done! Alot of strangers fell in love with this little girl and its a shame her mom didnt have the love and patience to give this child what she truly deserved! Caylee rest in peace now...little one....

I am so sorry for grandparents that they would believe their daughter after all she has lied about before.To have her living in their house and not show anything for her caylee. iwould drill her everyday to where she would have to say or do something. she even said when she was in jail that she wasn't crying just reading books and napping. i would be crying and very restless wondering about my child now about how i looked,she is one sick person. she knew where caylee was . she was so scared of her mom she had to make something up. she wanted her mom attention and was very jealous of her daughter that is sick!!!!!!!!!bring on the death pental {miss spelled} how does she sleep or eat. she killed caylee to spite her mom sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! caylee god bless you you were loved and still loved by people you never knew. This is to Cindy and George Anthony, I can't imagine the pain you are feeling but please know the world is hurting with you. For months, I watched the news daily hoping for Caylee's return. And when she was found I cried uncontrollably because I had prayed so hard for a miracle and it didn't happen. Caylee became a part of my life too, me, a complete stranger from Indiana. She was like a little burst of sunshine. Just remember that when you need her the most her little angel wings are around you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. this. is so sad for cindy and george what has happend,i fill so bad for them,i do believe they should have done something a long time ago about casey,its sad to se the family believe,the stuff. you know when somethig is not adding up i think they did not want to believe,she would do something like this. they need to see other storys like the susan smith case where she put her kids in the lake. or the women that drowned her 5 kids it happens all the time it would seem. if george worked in homicide,for a wile he would have put the smell and the lies together,i know they love their daughter but i would not cover for her. i love my kids with all of my heart i have 1 grandbaby that is 22 months old if my child took her life i dont think i would be able to forgive her...

I, would like to know if anyone has heard on the news that the family has made a lot of money of selling picturs and videos,to MBC news of little caylee this is so hearting,they would use this dead child to make any kind of money. i thimk their should be laws in place that you can not make money off of someone that has passed through murder,they should let the tv stations run these anyway without being paid.i saw were the attorney,was making money like this for her deffence.i could not live with myself if i made any money off of my granddaughter,the tv can not pin- point.who got the money but they show the transaction..

I can honestly say, time does go on, but the pain only weakens very little. Some people say; everything happens for a reason, or something good will come of this. I feel sorry for Cindy and George Anthony. However I hope Casey burns in hell. But first "do onto others". That poor little baby suffered at the hands of her own mother. That was the first person that this baby trusted. God doesn't make mistakes about who should live or die. That mother doesn't deserve something as easy as the death penalty. She needs to be alive so she can be reminded everyday of what a diabolical person she is. This family no only lost a grandbaby, they also lost a daughter who does't deserve to have parents who care so much. God was the one who wanted Caylee in this world and the devil of a mother should have just let her mother get the costody she was after. How was Casey supporting Caylee? By steeling from friends and her own family members? Where is the baby's rights in all this? Who protected her? It sure wasn't the person the baby expected. God bless George and Cindy Anthony. If the mother[Casey]of the child[Caylee]does't know who father her child is.We as humans know that a girl that dates her parents would want to met or know who Casey was going out with why if they knew who the father is why would it be a problem to say all the names they new she had dated.[IF ALL THE MEN THAT SLEEEP WITH CASEY MARY ANTHONY EVER.WOULD PLEASE CALL THIER LOCAL SHERIFF OFFICE.I'm sure they want to rule out the man that father Caylee to make sure [prove]that he had nothing to do with the murder.Thats why Casey nor her family wants to help or speak because as long as the FBI,or lawyers agaist her can prove he had nothing to do with this case.Casey likes to have fun,party,drink,hang out and dress pretty to draw attention from guys.I new a girl like Casey made up stuff to make her family think she was a great mother loving lied said she had a job she loved attention on her party,drink,hang out with friends,the big thing I'm getting at is she would give her child medicines to make her children go to sleep so she could do what she wanted.Finanly she got to the point she was saying she had to go to work after a month she never got a pay check.She said they had held her check.We check into it and she never had a job.She was taken pills,drugs.The grandmother of the childern and my self have the childern.There had to be signs of Casey not taken care of this child and not taken Caylee place to place is never stable nor safe for any children!I'm sure the grandparents now wished they would have step in to help Casey with her problems or maybe took temp-custoty of Caylee untell their daughter got help and on her feet.Casey might have thought people/family would look down on her if she did give Caylee up temperaly.I do beleive in my heart Casey give her daughter something to get her to sleep and so she would stay asleep why she went out to party or just out with someone but maybe she had been given it to her.Medicines or anything will build up in Caylee's body.And when she found out Caylee died she hid and tryied to cover up what had really happened.I PRAY FOR CAYLEE AND IF CASEY DID DO IT.I PRAY SHE COULD THINK AND LOOK IN HER HEART AND SIT IN HER SELL AND SEE CAYLEE'S EYES AND HER FIRST TIME CAYLEE SAYING MOMMMY I LOVE YOU.She in her mind could have accidentally overdosed Caylee but if that's what happened.It is still murder.you don't give a child anything that the childs doctor does not give to the child or more than what the doctor gives a child.PRAY4CMA
