Although the whereabouts of little Caylee Anthony remain a mystery, her mother, Casey Anthony may be released from jail and out on bail as early as Monday.
Renowned California bounty hunter, Leonard Padilla has agreed to post bail for Casey Anthony. He believes that when Casey is in a comfortable setting with her family, she will be more inclined to talk and tell them the whole story. Casey could be released as early as Monday, August 18, but still needs to be fitted for an electronic ankle monitor, already ordered by the court. Bounty Hunter Believes Caylee is AlivePadilla believes Caylee is alive because there have been no witnesses or any other evidence that indicates Caylee is dead. Padilla states he would much rather find Caylee alive; therefore, this is his motive to meet the bail. Padilla’s nephew, Tony Padilla, is a bail bondsman and will be posting the bond in the value of $500,000. Attorney and Mysterious Third Party Contacted PadillaPadilla was contacted by Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez, and an unknown third party Padilla is not willing to disclose. Padilla does not think Casey will cooperate with police once released, but still has hopes Casey will disclose information to family or friends. Padilla thinks Casey may have just handed Caylee off to someone, such as a babysitter. He also believes that Casey could have misplaced little Caylee somehow, as Padilla claims he did with one of his own children at a major sporting event in 1970. Padilla states that many young women who may be involved in illicit activity, such as drugs or heavy drinking, behave in such a manner. Nevertheless, he has no evidence Casey Anthony used alcohol or chemical substances to excess. Padilla claims he has ascertained this opinion from seeing photographs of Casey in which she appeared to be drinking heavily and cavorting after Caylee disappeared. Padilla also still believes that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez may be involved, but that the Gonzalez that authorities have located is not the correct woman as indicated by Casey and her family. Cadaver Dogs Not Always CorrectEven though cadaver dogs have located the scent of death in Casey’s car trunk, Padilla claims that he has witnessed cadaver dogs missing the scent of dead bodies. He stated he had also seen cadaver dogs hit incorrectly on items that were not related to human cadaver’s, but could not recall exactly when this occurred. Family Hires Experienced SpokesmanIn the meantime, the Anthony family has appointed a spokesman to speak publicly for them. The spokesman, Larry Garrison, is president of SilverCreek Entertainment and has co-written a book regarding the Alabama teenager who went missing in Aruba, Natalie Holloway. Noteworthy is that Garrison also acted as spokesman for the family of John Mark Karr, the man who gained media attention for falsely claiming he had murdered JonBenet Ramsey.
